Eastern Washington is known for its fruit. The is the last chance to stock up before leaving the desert and starting up into the hills.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Leaving Natches, you are still in arid semi-desert.

Soon you will be able to choose your route, if it is June to October. Highway 12 is open year round, and Highway 410 is open when the avalanche danger is gone.
